Dream over for Young Guns

Fairytale ended for Young Shaheen Football Club as they conceded 2 late goals from the in-form opposition striker Siraj. Changes were made in the starting line-up of Young Shaheen. In the Absence of regular Goal Keeper Ijaz khan was asked to fulfill the boots of regular Goal Keeper Fiasal. Ilyas scored in the last match of YSFC but was not enough to give him place in the starting line-up. 

The game kicked off in hot circumstances. High tempo to the game was produce from both sides. Sooner the game was controlled by YSFC but lack of combination and match practice cost Young Shaheen FC as clear chances were provided to Alam Shareef only to have hit the post. After just a few minutes Naveed Hameed found himself in acre of space but only to bottle the opportunity as his shot went well wide of the up-right. Zaryab FC looked very shaky in the opening 25 minutes but stability was restored by their experienced and Department player Siraj. First half was full of entertainment where most of the possession was shared by Young Shaheen Football Club. Despite being the dominant side first half ended in 0-0 score line.

From the very start of the second half both clubs made some changes. From YSFC Alam Shareef was scarified to make way for striker Ilyas. Zaryab FC also substituted one of their Midfield and their Manager-cum-player Gohar Zaman was brought onto the field. The introduction of Gohar Zaman was to petrol the midfield. Gohar Zaman combined really well with striker Siraj and for the first time in the game Young Shaheen FC defenders were brought into action by Zaryab FC. 

Constant attack from Zaryab FC forced Young Guns defenders to concede a free kick from 25 yard. The goal did came for Zaryab FC on 50th minute but it took something really special from the little magician of Zaryab FC as he made his way in between the defenders with a cheeky finish outside of his boot. After conceding goal YSFC made attacks on the opposition goal but futile. Young Shaheen FC were rewarded for their efforts on 75th minute when defender Ehtisham struck a goal with his header from a Masood's corner. 

The scores were level. As the game was heading for Extra time / Penalty kicks just 4 minutes from time Gohar Zaman pass through a ball to Siraj where Siraj made all the damage. He beat 2 players before hitting the ball in the back of the net. This made the score line 2-1 in favour of Zaryab FC. With only two minutes left on the clock YSFC went in search of equalizer where their defenders were caught flat footed and conceded the killer blow from siraj. With the score 3-1 their was never a way back. 

Zaryab FC went on to the Semis of the tournament, whereas for Young Shaheen the fairy tale ended. YSFC efforts were well supported by their staff and despite being on the losing side their Manager applauded them for their game.
